TODAY'S TIP:
Well, I was thinking this morning, what about pool noodle bamboo? Could you cut it down the center and have 2 pieces (use green) that were flat up agenst the wall?
Tell me what you think..........
Please leave a comment!
ReplyDeleteI like that idea, but buying that many pool noodles could get expensive. At this point I plan on visiting our local carpet stores once a week startingin March. They give away long carpet tubes (of varying widths & lengths sometimes) at no cost.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I heard architect firms get skinnier tubes from thier role of paper they use for drawings/floorplans. I'll be asking for some "connections" to an architect, too.
Love it Cassie! I have got some smaller carpet style tubes that are maybe 1 inch across the circle at the top and probably 8 feet long/tall! I just finished using them at a Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS as part of a fence..... They have some black and brown paint streaks on them, but I think that would just look like texture? Hope I thought about using these to wrap a celing support column and wrapping these (all mixed sizes, painted green) around it..... I am working on it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think the pool noodles would work if you can't get the carpet tubes. There is a bamboo tree farm next door to my son-in-laws shop and my husband is going to ask if we could borrow some of his trees.
